Tax Year 2023 Alerts:
- Please note that on January 29, 2024 the IRS will begin accepting returns.
- Due to the Path Act of 2025, IRS has advised all Tax Preparers that Tax Payers receiving the EITC Credit or ACTC Credit will have to wait 6 weeks or less (approximately March 11, 2024) before they will begin releasing their Refunds.
- If a Taxpayer has ACA Insurance at the Healthcare Marketplace, you will need to file a Form 1095-A which will be received on or before January 31 to avoid the IRS rejecting your 2023 return and delaying your refund.
- Anyone that knows they have a prior Tax Obligation with the IRS must disclose same to UBU Tax Pros, and pay for their preparation fee in advance. Fee Collect Will Not Be Available for offset returns.
- If a Taxpayer needs a Prior Year Tax Return prepared, Fee Collect Will Not Be Available. It is only available for current year Returns. Advance Payment will be required. However, you may pay for any prior year Tax Preparation Fee or Ta Resolution Fee through Zelle Quick Pay, or Master Card, Visa or American Express. Once payment has been made, your Prior Year Tax Return will be prepared. Your refund will be mailed directly to you for the full amount of the Refund.
